An alumnus of the Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer, Gurmehar, set out to pursue her bachelor’s in psychology (hons). from IP college for women, Delhi university. ... To further bolster her knowledge of psychology, Gurmehar interned with AIIMS Delhi and the Mental health foundation of India, in providing psychological first aid to inmates at the Tihar Jail. She provided the distressed inmates counseling sessions, that were aimed to eventually reduce the suicide rates at the jail. To broaden her academic achievements, she pursued her M.Sc. in Human resource studies from Tilburg university, the Netherlands. After moving back to India, Gurmehar founded “Kaleidoscope career counselors” to provide career guidance to students and aid them with their admission procedures to both Indian and International universities. With the want to expand her professional services and provide a holistic learning experience to her students, she co-founded the “Career Jack Academy”.
